GOBI 2019 (Global Opportunities in Business & Investment), is the biggest international student summit in Turkey, going to be organized by ITU Investment Club for 11th times. The event was awarded the best student summit in Europe in 2009. Moreover, the first international student summit of ITU, GOBI is being held with the participation of nearly 100 foreign students as well as students from all over the world.

Furthermore, it aims to improve students’s visionaries in panels about entrepreneurship, innovation and career with experts of their fields where they share their experiences and of course enable them getting know the Turkish culture with many different activities such as the following events; Istanbul Tours, International Night, Turkish Night, and GOBI FEST. In addition, GOBI ( Global Opportunities In Business & Investment) is an event organized by ITU Investment Club students. Also, in 2013, GOBI was chosen as The Best European Student Summit.

The event will last for 4 days starting from 3rd March to 6th March, 2019 which will take place in Istanbul Technical University with participation of more than 50 countries.

GOBI 2019’s Entertainment Part

1. International Night: It is the night that students from different countries introduce their own cultures. Foreign students bring foods, drinks, clothes and accessories from their countries. Traditional dances of countries are presented with videos to introduce their cultures. Also, Turkish students and foreign guests have a lot of fun in this night.
2. Turkish Night: In this night, they present Turkish foods, drinks, clothes as well as dances to introduce participants with the Turkish Culture.
3. Istanbul Tour Day: In this day, they are visiting historical and touristic places of Istanbul together.
