The European Academy of Neurology calls applications for EAN Autumn School 2020 in Loutraki, Greece.
EAN gives 60 neurologists in training (RRFS members) the chance to increase their knowledge of clinical neurology. The basic idea is to illustrate and showcase how experienced neurologists and sub-specialists approach specific clinical presentations, including an update on relevant diagnostic and treatment approaches for key conditions in the relevant areas. The course is structured in plenary sessions for all participants in the morning and hands-on/interactive or case-based sessions in the afternoons (20 participants per course, rotating); including patient input where possible.
Suitable patients can also attend the session with the assistance of local neurologists/the national neurological society. The language will not be a barrier for local patients as translation service will be available whenever necessary.
The European Academy of Neuroscience covers expenses for the accommodation, tuition, board, and program of the eligible candidates. Moreover, the participants will have to pay only for their travel. But however, applicants from low and lower-middle-income countries can apply for a travel grant as well. They should submit a short letter of intent, why the candidates want to participate including why the travel grant is needed.
In order to apply for the program, candidates must email the following documents to Ms. Magda Dohnalova at [email protected]
