UNDP Office in the United States of America calls application for Web Editor and Social Media internship – Spanish
Duties and Responsibilities
Researching content and producing Spanish language material as well as updating for Spanish social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter).
Ensuring global campaigns follow up and support, and audience engagement on Spanish Social media platforms.
Producing graphic material to be used on Spanish Social media platforms.
Providing assistance in curating and presenting stories, images, and videos in UNDP’s web content management system.
Reviewing and edit web stories, headlines and captions in Spanish and English, liaising with the rest of the team to ensure consistency across languages.
Assisting in reviewing translations in Spanish, proofreading and reformulating if necessary, for optimal web presentation.
Furthermore, assisting the Spanish Web editor in maintaining contacts with content providers in order to solicit material for the website, and/or for approval of drafts.
Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: Enrollment in a graduate school Programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); Enrollment in the final academic year of a first university degree Programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent); and have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
Web and social media experience are an asset. Native Spanish and fluency in written and spoken English. In addition to that, competency in French is desirable.

Compensation/Stipend
In accordance with the UNDP Internship policy, UNDP interns are eligible to receive a monthly stipend, with the rate that varies depending on the duty location. The stipend will be paid monthly, and part-time internship arrangements are prorated accordingly.
