Padjadjaran Model United Nations 2017, held by Universitas Padjadjaran is back with its fifth edition, PADMUN 2017! This years edition will be held from May 15th to 18th in Bandung, Indonesia. It is one of the most prestigious and well-known Indonesia’s international Model United Nations is back this year with the grand theme of

“The Breaking World” along with the tagline “Unravelling Crisis, Ensuring Tomorrow”

This grand theme reflects the fact that when we see the world realistically, we can palpably discover that the world is ravaged by several complicated conflicts and horrific disasters. Some may think that they live in a safe place, but that does not equally mean the world is already in peace. Unfortunately, the world isn’t as beautiful as some people thought it was. Therefore, we put forward this grand theme to give an illustration of the multidimensional and elaborate international issues that the world is currently battling against.

This year, PADMUN opens a chance for all  MUN enthusiasts across the globa with the grand theme of: The Breaking World – “Unraveling Crisis, Ensuring Tomorrow” bringing four councils:

1. UNGA – The Threat of Rising Sea Level

2. DISEC – Cyber Security: A Threat in The New Dimension

3. Historical ECOWAS – The 1997 Annual Session on Junta in Sierra Leone

4. UNSC (Crisis Comitee) – Contagion: Dead Man Walking
