Applications call for Southern Model United Nations. The Best Delegate Virtual Model United Nations Conferences (VMUNC) are for high school and middle school students (ages 11-18) who want to participate in world-class Model UN conference experiences from the comfort of home. MUN Invitationals are MUN conferences meant for intermediate and advanced delegates to work with experienced delegates and challenge their skills in GA or Crisis committees.

Background guides for each committee and topic will be provided to advisors and delegates after registration is complete. Southern Model United Nations has the following committees
- Disarmament and International Security (DISEC): Small Arms Trafficking
- UN Women: Political Participation for Women (SDG 5)
- UN Development Programme (UNDP): Affordable Clean Energy (SDG 7)
- World Health Organisation (WHO): Maternal Health (SDG 3)
- UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC): Alternatives to Imprisonment (SDG 16)
- United Nations Security Council (UNSC): Crisis – Situation in Venezuela
- United Nations Cabinet: Crisis: January 2021 – The First 90 Days
Timeline
- 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Speeches, moderated caucuses, form blocs to draft resolutions
- 12:30 – 1:00 PM Meal break & Networking time
- 1:00 – 3:30 PM Finalize resolution writing, Authors Panel, amend and vote on all resolutions
- 3:30 – 4:00 PM Staff feedback and Awards
How to register?
- Step 1: Advisor Completes Advisor Registration Form & checks out ( no payment necessary).
- Step 2: Advisor shares link to Conference Webpage with students & parents to enroll individually.
- Step 3: Parent completes the Student Registration Form and submits payment by deadline.
- Step 4: Advisor receives Country & paid student list and confirms final roster.
- Step 5: Student receives Google Classroom link where Assgigments, Topic Guide, & Zoom Links are posted.
