Winchester Model United Nations Conference, or WinMUN, is a one-day simulation of the United Nations hosted by THE Winchester High School for New England-area high school students, with committees tailored for both experienced delegates and beginners ready to dive into international affairs. Moreover, WinMUN I will be hosted on Sunday, April 7th at the brand-new Winchester High School campus.
Winchester Model United Nations (WinMUN) is a one-day simulation held in mid-April, with committees across all UN-organs set in the past and present. Furthermore, WinMUN is held annually in downtown Winchester and hosted by the Winchester Model UN Club. MUN is a student-driven organization at Winchester High School and has always been one of the school’s largest clubs. With a diverse group of students from all grades, ethnicities, and debate-experience levels, Winchester’s Model UN team has become a force to be reckoned with. Now, the club has over 50 members and presents a myriad of activities for students to engage in, mainly with 2-hour debate simulations hosted bi-weekly in GA and crisis format, multicultural events, and travel conferences.
At the conference, students will assume the role of UN representatives of member-states or court justices of the International Court of Justice while debating the pressing issues that global leaders face every day.
