For the fifth year in a row, Forbes is looking for outstanding young leaders who are disrupting and transforming their industries around the region. From technology to retail, finance, art and social entrepreneurship — the 2020 list aims to highlight 300 more talents to join the 1200-strong regional group of innovators.
Every year, Forbes get thousands of online nominations and task their reporters with finding the best rising stars from every corner of the region. Individuals from places like Kazakhstan, Fiji and even North Korea have previously made the list so no place is left out.
Once you submit the online nomination, a member of our team will review it and if it gets shortlisted, they will reach out to their sources and the person who nominated you for more information and fact-checking. If it still looks good, we will hand it over to our panel of respected judges in each category to do the final vetting.
There are no strict metrics when it comes to selecting the finalists (revenue, funding, etc…) — overall we look at each nomination and evaluate based on impact, innovation and other attributes that stand out and make the individual or the venture worth highlighting.
The most important thing to remember is that submitting this form will be the first step in the nomination process so fill it only once for each nomination and to your best ability. We will be following up when necessary.
