Apply for the Need-Based Scholarships in India, 2020. All India Institute of Medical Sciences is providing scholarships for Bachelors degree in the field of Medicine.

• The Smt Maya Devi and Shri Kirpa Ram Kohli Educational Trust have offered to ‘The AIIMSONIANS’ a scholarship for financial support to undergraduate students of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
• Additionally, the AIIMSONIANS will administer this scholarship and would be based on merit-cum-means.
• Also, a sub-committee of the Executive Committee of the AIIMSONIANS will do the selections

Eligibility 

• The scholarship is open to students of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
• Additionally, the candidates should be undertaking an undergraduate course.
• Also, applicants should have excellent academic merit.
• Likewise,  the University will consider candidates who require financial assistance.
• Furthermore, applicants must attach one passport size photograph with the application.

Value of Scholarship

• The successful applicants of AIIMS – Merit Cum Need-Based Scholarships in India, 2020 will receive an award of Rs. 10,000.
• Additionally, the University will award the amount during the Annual Dinner of the AIIMSONIANS which takes place every year on 1st October.

• The last date to apply for AIIMS – Merit Cum Need-Based Scholarships in India, 2020 is 16th August 2020.

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance have declared these institutions. Additionally, AIIMS New Delhi, the fore-runner parent excellence institution, was established in 1956. Since then, 22 more institutes were announced. As of January 2020, fifteen institutes are operating and eight more are to become operational until 2025. Furthermore, proposals were made for six more AIIMS.
