Apply for the Alex-Trebek Postdoctoral fellowship for IA + Society Alex-Trebek focused on the social science aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to environmental sustainability.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in sociology, critical human geography or political economy, but the experience of theoretical engagements in scientific and technological studies (STS) would be an asset.
The successful candidate will be under supervision by renowned specialists in social sciences, law and public policy in technology from the University of Ottawa. They will also be supervised by an advisory committee made up of experts, national and international, as part of the AI for Healthy Humans and Environments Project of the Alex-Trebek Forum for Dialogue.
This work should lead to a series of joint publications by the end of the internship. Dissemination of Research results will be through a series of publications, white papers and other knowledge mobilization activities.

Applicants should come up with creative ideas for this postdoctoral fellowship, highlighting how they plan to contribute new knowledge in the field of agricultural AI and environmental sustainability. Ottawa is particularly interested in proposals that take an interdisciplinary and critical social science perspective to study the relationship between innovation and agri-environmental change.
