Applications are open for Brian C. Jensen Scholarship 2020-2021. The Brian C. Jenson Scholarship is a fellowship awarded to one academically accomplished and talented Danish student. This prestigious scholarship was founded by Dr. Brian C. Jensen, who has instituted this esteemed scholarship specifically for students from Denmark coming to the United States to pursue their higher education goals.

Brian C. Jensen has realized that study abroad has become a remarkable part of the education sector globally and as per the findings of OECD, United States, France, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany together receive more than 50 percent of foreign exchange students worldwide. Of these, Jensen knows that statistics reveal that the U.S.A. is still the top destination for Danes studying abroad. However, Danish students pursuing higher studies in the United States are faced with a high cost of living and massive tuition fees.

As such, the overall cost of education in the U.S.A. cannot be wholly funded by the Government of Denmark. Hence, the Brian C. Jensen Scholarship is a token of appreciation for a Danish student with an exceptional academic record in order to offset the cost of their studies in the United States.

Eligibility Details

• Students with Danish Citizenship who are aspiring to pursue graduate studies in any college or university in the United States are eligible for this scholarship.
• The study period should be at least one semester. You are free to put in your application for the Brian C. Jensen Scholarship prior to final acceptance with your host institution in the United States, but you must submit your letter of acceptance in order to receive the funds if selected for the Brian C. Jensen Scholarship.
• It is not necessary that the credits received in the United States transfer specifically for Danish studies.
