The Camelback Fellowship, offered by Camelback Ventures, is a 16-week hybrid accelerator that supports early-stage entrepreneurs tackling systemic inequities in education and conscious technology. Since 2015, over 180+ founders (94% BIPOC, 63% women/non-binary) have received support through this program.
The fellowship delivers support across five critical areas:
- Coaching: One-on-one leadership and strategy support.
- Capital: $40,000 in funding (SAFE note for for-profits, grants for nonprofits).
- Connections: Introductions to investors, partners, and experts.
- Community: Cohort-based peer support and alumni network.
- Curriculum: Training in project management, hiring, pitching, and more.
Who Should Apply?
Ideal applicants are:
- 18+ early-stage founders in the U.S./U.S. Territories (no relocation required).
- Founders of ventures with strong equity focus (at least 50% beneficiaries based in the U.S., original concept).
- Leaders of ventures targeting underserved communities in education and socially impactful tech.

How the Selection Works:
Round 1 – Submit written responses and a 3-minute pitch video. About 15% become finalists, with feedback provided even if not selected.
Round 2 – A 75-minute virtual interview assessing leadership, market understanding, and impact. Camelback offers interview prep.
Final selections are made, with up to 16 fellows invited per cycle.
