Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) – Study & Training in Canada for Global Development

The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) is a major international scholarship initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada that supports higher education and professional development for students from 26 developing partner countries. This long-term programme helps recipients gain skills, knowledge, and experience in Canada with the goal of strengthening social and economic development in their home countries.

 About BCDI 2030

BCDI 2030 is an eight-year initiative aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It focuses on priority areas such as STEM, artificial intelligence, climate action, health sciences, governance, and green and blue economy development. Around 7,000 scholarships will be awarded over the programme’s lifetime, with at least 51% of recipients expected to be women.
