Who Is Eligible?

You may be considered if you:

  • Are from a developing country listed by the University of Groningen (e.g., India, Nigeria, Kenya, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Morocco, and more)
  • Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a master’s program before 1 February of the application year
  • Possess excellent undergraduate grades, academic references, and English proficiency
  • Are available to attend for the full duration of the program and in good health

How to Be Considered

  • Apply to a master’s program at the University of Groningen before 1 December, in order to be eligible for nomination.
  • The Admissions Office and Faculty Admission Boards will nominate eligible candidates based on merit. You cannot apply directly for the scholarship.
  • Nomination outcomes are communicated by 1 February.
