The MESPOM Consortium, comprising four prestigious European universities — Central European University (Austria), Lund University (Sweden), The University of Manchester (UK), and The University of the Aegean (Greece) — is inviting outstanding students from around the world to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM) for the 2026–2028 academic cycle.
Since its founding in 2005, MESPOM has cultivated global leaders equipped to tackle complex environmental and sustainability challenges. Supported by the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus Programme, this two-year joint master’s offers an unparalleled combination of interdisciplinary training, international exposure, and career-defining opportunities.
MESPOM provides a 24-month, 120-ECTS programme that takes students across four leading European universities and diverse ecosystems — from Vienna to Lesvos, Lund to Manchester.
Throughout, students specialize in sustainable energy and climate change, biodiversity and conservation, urban sustainability, sustainable consumption, and environmental justice.
MESPOM graduates are shaping sustainability agendas across the globe — from policymaking and environmental consultancy to international research and advocacy.
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Scholarships offer full financial support for top students, covering tuition, travel, visa, installation, and living costs for the full programme duration.
