Supported by the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus Programme, this two-year joint master’s offers an unparalleled combination of interdisciplinary training, international exposure, and career-defining opportunities.

MESPOM provides a 24-month, 120-ECTS programme that takes students across four leading European universities and diverse ecosystems — from Vienna to Lesvos, Lund to Manchester.

  • Year 1:
    • Fall & Winter: Central European University (Vienna, Austria) – Core modules in environmental sustainability, cross-cutting competencies, and electives.
    • Spring: University of the Aegean (Lesvos, Greece) – Studies on land, water, ecosystem management, and sustainable tourism.
    • Summer: Professional internships hosted by MESPOM’s 11 Associated Partners and global organizations.
  • Year 2:
    • Fall:
      • Lund University (Sweden): Environment, Industry, and Products.
      • University of Manchester (UK): Environment and Pollution Control.
    • Spring: Master’s thesis at one of the consortium institutions, aligned with students’ academic or professional goals.

Eligibility Criteria
