The applications for the fully funded GHC scholarships for technologists for the Grace Hopper Celebration 2020 have opened. Interested candidates can apply until 4th March 2020.
- The GHC Scholars Program provides funds for women who are either undergraduate students, graduate students, or faculty to attend the Celebration.
- Additionally, women scholars gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime.
The program offers the following scholarships to increase access for women to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration
GHC Scholars Program for Students and Faculty
- The GHC Scholars Program provides funds for women who are either undergraduate students, graduate students, or faculty.
- Also, women who get selected as scholars gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Eligibility Criteria
For the Scholarships for Technologists,
- The candidates must be at least 18 years of age by September 29, 2020.
- Also, they must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited degree program at a college, university, or high school at the time of applying.
- Those graduating prior to the Celebration are not eligible unless they go for another related degree program
- Additionally, the candidates should show satisfactory progress toward a degree such as, but not limited to, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, human-computer interaction, math, physics, or management information systems.
- Similarly, they should be able to demonstrate an interest in computing.
- Furthermore, they should not have been an AnitaB.org-GHC Scholar in 2019.
GHC Women in Boot Camp Scholarship
- To increase access for women from alternative tech programs such as boot camps and coding schools, AnitaB.org is providing a limited number of scholarships that cover the cost of attending GHC including registration, accommodations, airfare, and a stipend to cover meals and incidentals.

GHC Women of Color in Technology Complimentary Registration
- To increase access to women of color from underrepresented groups, AnitaB.org is offering complimentary registrations to attend GHC 20.
