The Graduate School Scholarships at the University of Queensland is a Fully-funded scholarship opportunity for international students to commence graduate studies in Australia. This scholarship is open to all the students to wish to commence study by the HDR program in any faculty.
UQ is a public research university in Brisbane, Australia. With its establishment in 1909, the university is Australia’s fifth oldest university and is colloquially a sandstone university. At the same time, the university offers associate, bachelor, master, doctoral and higher doctorate degrees through a college, a graduate school and six faculties. Also, UQ is consistently ranked first for business administration, mining engineering and life sciences in Australia. TC Beirne School at the University of Queensland is the sixth oldest law school in Australia. Following, it is the oldest in Queensland. TC Beirne School of Law is currently providing graduate and undergraduate law programs to approximately 2,000 students. Moreover, this school is famed for contributing many professionals and officers in the law sectors of the Australian government.
These fully-funded scholarships cover the tuition fee as well as the living costs of nominees to live and study in Australia. The Scholarship waives the payable tuition fee that the students were able to fee for their enrolment. In addition to that, the scholarship also covers the health insurance and living expenses of the successful candidate. The stipend amount can be up to $28,092 per annum tax-free (2020 rate).
The scholarship will be for 3 years with the possibility of two 6 month extensions in approved circumstances.
