The applications for the Turkish Government Scholarships for International Students have opened. The application will be opened from 15th January- 20th February 2020 for international students from all countries.
The Turkish Government is offering outstanding scholarships to the International students in the well known Turkish Universities. It is a government-funded, competitive scholarship offered to highly promising students who are interested to pursue a full-time or short -time programs at different universities. The Turkish Government aims to extend mutual cooperation and understanding among the countries of the world by providing fully funded education to international students.

The advantages of enrolling in the scholarship program of the Turkish Government are as follows
- Full-Time Programs
- The Undergraduate Scholarship Program Covers:
- University and program placement
- Also, Monthly Stipend: 700 TL per month as well as the tuition fees
- Similarly, it also provides once-off Return Flight Ticket, health Insurance, accommodation as well as One year Turkish Language Course
- Furthermore, the length of the award is
- 1 year Turkish Language course + 4-6 years (depending on the normal duration of the program)
- Similarly, the Postgraduate Scholarship Program Covers:
- University and program placement
- In addition to that, the University provides a monthly stipend of :
- 950 TL per month for Master’s
- 1400 TL per month for PhD
- Furthermore, it also covers the Tuition Fee
- Also, once-off Return Flight Ticket, health insurance, accommodation as well as one year Turkish Language Course
- Length of award:
- Master’s: 1 year Turkish Language course + 2 years
- Ph.D.: 1 year Turkish Language course + 4 years
Eligibility Criteria
The students must meet the following requirements in order to be a part of the scholarship program
- Basic Criteria for Applying
- Minimum Academic Criteria:
- The applicants must score a minimum of 70% in the Bachelor’s degree
- Similarly, they must have a minimum academic achievement of 75% for Master’s and Doctorate degree
- In addition to that, minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) is 90%
- Age Criteria:
- For the Undergraduate programs, the applicants must be under the age of 21
- Also, they must be under the age of 30 for the Master’s programs
- Similarly, they must be under the age of 35 for the Doctorate programs
