The Nelson Mandela Award recognizes undergraduate students at the end of their 3rd year of study, on the basis of academic excellence, demonstrated leadership and community involvement. This award has been established to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela, and eligible candidates must demonstrate, through their studies and community involvement, a commitment to promoting peace, justice, citizenship and human rights.The Nelson Mandela Award is established to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela and the successful applicants will be receiving an annual income.
