The University of West of England calls application for 2020 Millennium Scholarships for the academic year 2020/21. The scholarship is for international postgraduate students.

Award Benefits

The Millennium Scholarships at the University of West of England is a funded opportunity for international students to study in the United Kingdom. Moreover, the scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for one academic year.

Conditions of Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship need to undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments, and also need to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course. Following graduation, recipients will also be an active member of the UWE Bristol Alumni Network by helping the University to promote its programs to prospective students.

Eligibility Requirements

• Candidates must have the equivalent of a British 1st in an undergraduate degree. In addition to that, they must hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition
• Candidates should be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study who have to be overseas for fees purposes
• Student must not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award.
• Furthermore, candidates must be able to provide official transcripts at the time of application.

Application Process

Interested eligible candidates can apply via their  UWE Welcome portal by completing the scholarship task. The application deadline for the September 2020 scholarship is Sunday 31 May 2020.
