Massachusetts Institute of Technology calls application for Research Fellowship in Economics at School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. This is a full-time, one-year appointment that is renewable annually (contingent upon funding). An employment term of two years is strongly preferred. The fellows will contribute to supporting market design and labor economics research. They will join a growing team consisting of over eighteen academic affiliates who represent leading economic thinkers, ten full-time staff members, and a number of graduate researchers. The team works closely with leading academic, government, and nonprofit institutions across the country to address major societal issues in education, health care, and the workforce. Will work closely with MIT Professor Parag Pathak and collaborators at universities across the country, including UC-Berkeley, the University of Chicago, and Harvard University. This is a junior-level position intended to act as a pathway to explore a career in economic research.
