The Fulbright Joint-Supervision Program 2024
The Fulbright Joint-Supervision Program sends Moroccan doctoral candidates to an American university to pursue a year/ 2 years of study and research with an American Ph.D. co-supervisor.
Candidates selected under this program spend up to one full year at an American university conducting research in labs, libraries, and auditing classes under the supervision of their American co-supervisor.
Candidates planning to spend two years need to specify this on their applications and on the invitation letters received from their potential US supervisors. x

Eligibility /Ineligibility
- Applications without commitments and authorization from both Moroccan and American professors will not be considered.
- Applications must include an evaluation of the applicant’s dissertation proposal by both the Moroccan directeur de thèse and the American co-supervisor.
You are not eligible:
- If you are currently studying in the United States
- If you have worked overseas for more than two years
If you are an employee or close family member or dependent of an employee of MACECE, an officer of the MACECE board, the US Embassy or the US Department of State or its cooperating agencies, or individuals closely associated with the organization
- If you are associated with an organization, wherein the organization and the individuals are responsible for nominating or selecting individuals for participation in any exchange program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (e.g. cooperating agencies like Amideast, etc)
