2024 Umi Mentorship Program for Mums of African Descent

The 2024  Umi Mentorship Program empowers and supports mothers in Africa and the diaspora by providing them with the essential information, connections, and community needed to effectively care for themselves and their little ones.

Launched in June 2023, to helps new mothers and mums of children below 3 years old become better versions of themselves as mothers, wives, partners and professionals,  the mentorship program have paired mothers in Nigeria, South Africa and the United Kingdom with experienced mentors who help them in their motherhood and professional journeys.

Benefits of 2024 Umi Mentorship Program

• Selected mentees will be paired with an experienced mum and professional who have walked familiars paths.
• Mentees will get the support they need to have a progressive career and rise sound Children.
• Mentees will get access to a private community of mum walking similar paths.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be from Africa and can be living either on the continent or in the diaspora.
• Applicants must me to biological mother of a child who is between age 0 and 3 years.
• Applicants must be willing to invest their time and attention between mum and professional
• Applicants must be commit to fully participating in the mentorship program over the three months of their selected cohort.

The next cohort is from February 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024. The application deadline is December 31, 2023.
