FWWMUN Roles: Who Can Participate?

FWWMUN is inclusive and open to youth worldwide, regardless of prior MUN experience. Here are the key roles you can apply for:

• Delegates: Represent a country and actively engage in committee discussions. Delegates debate, collaborate on drafting resolutions, and negotiate with other countries to tackle global issues.
  • Eligibility: Open to students aged 14-28.
  • No Prior MUN Experience Required: FWWMUN welcomes both newcomers and experienced MUN delegates.
• Observers: Want to experience the conference without representing a country? Observers can attend sessions, learn about the debate process, and witness high-level discussions.
  • Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 14-28.
• Faculty Advisors: Educators or school staff who accompany delegations and oversee students’ participation at the conference.
  • Eligibility: Must be 21 or older and register as part of a delegation (1 Faculty Advisor per 5 delegates).

Registration Deadlines & Fees for FWWMUN New York 2025

• Chairs: September 2, 2024 – January 5, 2025
• Delegates: September 2, 2024 – February 23, 2025
• Head Delegates & Faculty Advisors: September 2, 2024 – January 23, 2025
• Observers: January 6, 2025 – February 23, 2025

Registration Fees:

• Delegates: $100 (early bird), $150 (regular), $200 (late)
• Observers: $100
• Faculty Advisors: $25
• Delegation Fee: $100 per group (plus individual fees)

For delegates from U.S. schools, universities, or MUN clubs, special discounts apply – delegates pay only $50, and Faculty Advisors participate for free!

Accommodation & Travel

• FWWMUN offers accommodation packages at a partner hotel, available exclusively to registered participants. Packages cover all taxes, and room assignments will be made based on gender. If you wish to extend your stay, additional booking options are available through the conference.

• Once your registration is complete, you can request a visa invitation letter, which is crucial for securing your travel visa. FWWMUN provides both individual and delegation letters, offering support throughout the visa application process.
