Women Founders Investment Preparedness Program 2025 for Canada

Canada Innovates is proud to work with the Canadian Women’s Foundation to host the Women Founders Investment Preparedness program in support of women, gender diverse founders and social purpose organizations navigating preparing for social investment.

The Women Founders program is designed to support women and gender-diverse individuals in developing entrepreneurial and business skills to start and grow successful ventures. This program offers comprehensive training in leadership, entrepreneurship, and practical business management, equipping participants to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. By focusing on essential business strategies and innovation, Women Founders helps entrepreneurs build a strong foundation for their ventures. Participants will benefit from tailored workshops, expert mentorship, and valuable resources to enhance their leadership qualities and entrepreneurial potential. Committed to fostering inclusivity and success, the program aims to empower diverse entrepreneurs to create impactful businesses and drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

• Canada Innovates and the Canadian Women’s Foundation will provide access to mentorship, expertise on investment preparedness, and an investor partner network to support the entrepreneurs’ business growth and fundraising goals.

Eligibility

• You are an entrepreneur who self identifies as a woman and/or gender diverse and have and/or are looking to incorporate a new business in Canada.
• You are an organization (business/not for profit/social enterprise) that is led by a woman and/or gender diverse individuals looking to become investment ready.
• You can commit to setting up a Roadmap with traction and revenue goals for your business between September and December.
• You are looking to work on and/or have a sustainable business model with potential for market growth.
• You are looking to strengthen your self-advocacy, partnership, and investment preparedness strategies to sustain your business goals.
