Community Engagement Exchange Program 2026 in USA | Fully Funded

The Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Program 2026 is a fully funded, year-long leadership initiative in the United States for emerging civil society leaders from across the globe. Sponsored by the U.S. Government and implemented by IREX, the program empowers passionate changemakers to address pressing issues in their home countries through a blend of professional experience, academic enrichment, and cultural exchange.

Participants will collaborate with mentors, build global networks, and lead impactful community projects. Whether your focus is on social justice, education, climate action, or youth development, the CEE Program provides the skills, support, and international platform to drive meaningful change and foster inclusive, resilient communities worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria for the Community Engagement Exchange Program 2026:

  • Must be aged between 21 and 28 at the time of application.
  • Be a citizen and resident of one of the eligible countries.
  • Have at least two years of professional or volunteer experience in civil society or community development.
  • Must be living and working in their home country.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to civic engagement.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English (no TOEFL/IELTS required but may be beneficial).
