MonoVisions invites application for Monochrome Photography Awards. It aims to discover the best monochrome photographers from all over the world and deliver the best opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for their work. You can compete for $5000 in cash prizes in two categories: Black and White Photo of the Year 2019 and Black and White Series of the Year 2019. MonoVisions annual competition is open to photographers of all backgrounds and all levels, including – professionals and amateurs. Further, it accepts all forms of black and white photography created with traditional or digital methods.

Prizes + Awards

MonoVisions will award the following grand prize to the winners of Monochrome Photography Awards:

• $3,000 cash prize for Black and White Series of the Year.
• $2,000 cash prize for Black and White Photo of the Year.
• Individual certificate.
• Digital statue.
• Also, Press coverage by our media partners.

All Honorable Mention winners will also receive individual certificates and statues.

Cash prizes are payable in US Dollars through PayPal. There are no alternatives available for prize winners.

Who can participate in MonoVision Photography Awards?

MonoVisions Monochrome Photography Awards contest is open to all photographers aged at least 18 years old from any country in the world. Participants can only enter the contest via online with digital files. Hard prints are unacceptable.

Any image submitted to the competition may be used by the MonoVisions Photography Awards, and its media partners, for marketing and promotional purposes of the competition only. You hereby grant the MonoVisions Photography Awards a non-exclusive, irrevocable license in each Entry throughout the world in all media for any use in connection with the competition.

MonoVision will publish all awarded entries online.  Further, images awarded in other contests are acceptable. Published and unpublished images are also acceptable.

How To Make Monochrome Photography Submission?

• Only black and white images are acceptable.
• Toned images (like sepia, selenium or gold) will also be accepted.
• Both analog (scan slides) and digital black and white images will be accepted.
• Also, color images converted to black and white are acceptable.
• All images must be in Jpeg (JPG) format.
• 72 dpi – 1100 pixels on the longest side.
• No signature, no logos, no annoying copyright, nor watermark text should appear on the images.

Entrants must make online registration for their submission. Further, entrants will be contacted by email if the submitted image(s) has passed the pre-selection stage and instruction on how to provide high-resolution files to confirm the submission.

Deadline

Applicants must submit their Monochrome photography selection for MonoVisions Awards before May 12, 2019. Applications arriving postdeadline are not eligible for Monochrome Photography awards.
