With the aim of supporting and recognizing creative women who are making concrete contributions to finding solutions for the future of our planet, Cartier Women’s Initiative calls for it Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2020. The competition aims to bring these business solutions to the largest audience possible. Since 2006, Cartier has accompanied 219 promising female business-owners and recognized 77 laureates.
Moreover, the finalists will receive awards that could enhance their skills in the world of business which includes:
- One-to-one personalized business and financial coaching prior to the Awards Week.
- A series of business coaching workshops and networking sessions during the Awards Week.
- Media visibility for the finalists and their businesses in the months leading up to the Awards Week and interview opportunities with the local & international press during the Awards Week.
What is the value of Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards?
- The 7 laureates (1 from each region) will receive US$ 100,000 in prize money.
- Further, the 14 finalists (the two runners-up from each region) will receive US$ 30,000 in prize money.
In addition to the prize money, all 21 finalists will be awarded:
- A scholarship to attend the six-day INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Executive Education Programme
- Ongoing support and/or mentoring for a year following the Awards Week to support the further growth and development of the business
Who is eligible for Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2020?
To be considered for the Cartier Women’s Initiative, the business must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The business should generate sufficient revenues to support its operations and return some level of profit to its owners.
- The business should be a model and in the initial phase of its development and growth.
- Further, the business should currently be generating revenue from the sales of its products and/or services for at least 1 year as of the date of application.
- Your business should not have raised more than US$2 million in dilutive funding.
- Likewise. your business should meet at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- A woman either in the capacity of Director, General Manager or CEO must fill the main leadership position. Further, she must also own a significant stake within the company.
- The lead entrant must be 18 or the age of legal majority in the country of citizenship on the day of the application deadline.
- Also, the businesswomen will require a good command of the English language (both verbal and written).
- The lead entrant must commit to dedicating 3 – 4 hours/week virtually from January to April to participate in the Cartier program.
How To Apply for the Women’s Initiative Competition 2020?
To apply for the Cartier Women’s Initiative competition an applicant must submit the online form available from June 11, 2019. The form will require the candidates answering questions in multiple ranges. The candidates must answer all the questions to complete the form.
Applicants may submit the completed form to finalize their entry. Further, while making the submission, the candidates should also include their CV and Business registration Documents.
Deadline
The application form for Cartier Women’s Initiative Award 2020 opens form June 11, 2019, and closes on August 14, 2019. Applicants must make their submission within the deadline window.
