The International Youth Forum (IYF) is a platform that provides young people with the opportunity to present their concerns and ideas to the Member States and help shape the direction of World Development. Every year young people from different entities come together at the IYF to discuss and debate thematic areas of concern. The forum culminates in a series of recommended actions presented at the International Entities i.e United Nations. In a similar manner, this year, the International Youth Forum is addressing Peace, Social Justice, and SDG.

Moreover, the objectives of IYF 2019 are:

1. To share knowledge on achieving youth development by promoting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
2. Further, Launch ideas and initiatives for collective action for people, planet, peace, and prosperity.
3. Likewise, raise an informative generation on the current situation of youth and Social Equality conflicts with anticipated behavior adaptation and consequently admission to decision making amongst youth.
4. Also, foster youth action towards implementation of ideas brought forward by the young people for the benefit of the societies.

Fully Funded International Youth Forum on Peace, Social Justice, and SDG

Furthermore, IYF 2019 is also providing fully funded scholarships. It provides 30 scholarships to applicants, one scholarship per country. The scholarship covers the attendance cost. The attendance cost includes host providing:

• Accommodation in Chennai, India, Conference Materials for the duration of the conference only.
• The Organising Committee will provide Dinner, Breakfast (all mornings). In total, there is 3 Breakfast + 2 Lunch+3 Dinner.
• The Organising Committee takes responsibility for arranging transportation for participants’ arrivals and departures. And transportation during the Conference.

However, the candidates must arrange their own flight plan.

Who are eligible for the International Youth Forum 2019?

Candidates wishing to apply for the International Youth Forum on Peace, Social Justice and SDG must:

• at least be the age of 18 years.
• have proficiency in English
• Have at least 2 years of work experience in the Human Rights, SDG, Political Economics, administration, culture, media, science, or civil society
• Also, have a strong inclination towards the IYF 2019 Topic

How to apply for the International Youth Forum 2019?

Application for the International Youth Forum 2019 is available for both Indian delegates as well as international delegates at the website. To apply for the forum, applicants will require to submit the online application. Furthermore, the applicants are responsible to acquire their own visa. Also, the applicants will require to provide the attendance cost.

• $75 for SAARC nations and least developed countries.
• $100 for international delegates
• INR 1500 for Indian delegates

Moreover, the candidates may apply for a waiver.
