Position: Assistant or Associate Professor of Archaeology

Additionally, it has a satellite campus at the Texas State University Round Rock Campus (RRC) in the greater north Austin area The Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State is the largest forensics research facility in the world.
The Department of Anthropology at Texas State University is seeking someone to fill the post of Assistant Professor in Archaeology. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s baccalaureate degrees in anthropology, M.A. in anthropology, and Ph.D. in applied anthropology. In general, the responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Archeology and Applied Archaeology. S/he will also aid the research activities whenever necessary.
In addition to that, the incumbent will also contribute to developing the external fundings to support the research activities. Furthermore, the assistant professor will complete all other tasks assigned by the Department or administration.
