TFF and the Ag Institute Australia NSW Division open sign-ups for the first-ever AgriFood Tech Pitching Competition in Oceania Region. Ag Institute Australia is the region’s peak industry body for agricultural and natural resource management professionals. Together, they aim to leverage industry expertise as well as global networks to find and support Oceania’s next-generation innovations in the agritech space.

Calling on Oceania’s agritech innovation ecosystem, it is an opportunity to pitch your startup for a chance at prizes and national and international exposure. We will select and announce the 10 Finalists in the lead up to the event. The finalists will then pitch their ideas on September 25th at Cicada Innovations, Australia’s home of deep tech startups. The immersive pitching event will bring together top innovators from across Oceania, feature world-class keynote speakers and a selection of Cicada Growlab startups sharing their experience in the innovation ecosystem in Australia.

Winners of AgriFood Tech Pitching Competition

AgriFood Tech Pitching Competition is an opportunity for the innovators to gain exposure in agritech industry. Hence, the competition provides extensive networking opportunity as well as connect innovators with accelerators, incubators, and mentors. Further, the winner of the entrepreneurship competition will receive funding that will enable the entrepreneurs to expand their startups while in the guide of the industry’s expert.

Who is eligible for the AgriFood Pitching Competition?

Entrepreneurs are eligible for the AgriFood Pitching competition if they have a startup in the Oceania Region. Further, the entrepreneurs should have a startup in agritech space.

How to apply for the AgriFood Pitching Competition?

Entrepreneurs can apply for the AgriFood Pitching Competition through the online portal available at the website. While applying, the candidates should describe the issue their startup addresses. Further, they should provide a brief description of their startup.

Deadline

Participants can apply for the AgriFood Pitching Competition until 4 September 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are not eligible for the competition.
