Whether you are just entering the working world or are still a student, the Bucerius Summer Program in International Business Law prepares you to meet the increasing demands of companies and law firms in the areas of international banking, trade law, consumer transactions and more. The combination of Socratic-style lectures and interactive seminars taught by experienced professors. Further, practitioners ensure that your intellect remains engaged throughout the program. The variety of courses offered allows you to fine-tune your schedule to best fit your personal interests and needs.
The program is designed for advanced law students and recent graduates. Further,  wishing to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of international business law. Also,  gain valuable intercultural communication skills by working in small groups with students from different legal backgrounds.

Mission

One summer is all it takes to boost your resume, expand your international network and deepen your knowledge in one of today’s most pertinent law topics. Also, Taught by top professors and experienced professionals, the Bucerius Summer Programs attract students and recent graduates from Germany and around the world to Hamburg for our demanding short-term law courses. In 2020, the Bucerius Summer Program in International Business Law will take place for the 13th consecutive year.
By working in small groups with students from different legal backgrounds, you will be able to gain valuable intercultural communication skills while acquiring in-depth knowledge in the fields of international business law and comparing perspectives with participants from across the globe.

Further, Socratic-style course meetings promote interactive dialogue, inquiry and close cooperation with your peers and lecturers. Classes take place five days a week, usually between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. As the courses do not meet parallel, you can enroll in as many you wish.

Small class sizes and individuals from across the globe guarantee an interactive, international experience and exchange of diverse ideas. Total program enrollment is to 30 participants.
