The Expo Live Innovation Impact Grant Program aims to fund novel and innovative solutions that encapsulate the spirit of Expo 2020 Dubai overall theme: ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’. Expo’s three subthemes, Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability, are focus areas for funding. Moreover, Expo Live funds, accelerate and promotes creative solutions that improve lives while preserving our world.

With an allocation of USD 100 million, Expo Live will harness the convening power of a World Expo to demonstrate how innovations coming from all places and people can advance the pace of progress and inspire a more inclusive and prosperous future.

In the build-up to Expo 2020 Dubai, Expo Live will deploy a combination of grants, challenge prizes as well as knowledge-sharing events focused on the universal drivers of progress: Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability.

Expo Live 2020 Dubai Innovation Impact Grant

The program will award funds up to USD 100,000 per application depending on the maturity and scalability of innovations. It’s not only about providing innovators with access to financing, but successful grant recipients will also receive

Connecting innovators to an international network of participating nations, corporate partners, regional and global businesses, as well as many millions of anticipated visitors.

To increase a project’s global visibility and impact, the Expo Live program includes extensive marketing and communication exposure, as well as outreach programs.

Who is eligible for Expo 2020 Innovation Impact Grant?

To participate in the Expo Live Innovation Impact Grant Program, an enterprise must meet the following criteria:

• Startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, NGOs, government entities
• Innovations must be at the prototype level or beyond
• Benefits society, environment, or is for a humanitarian cause
• Any sector, any country
• Legally registered entities

How to apply for the Expo Live Dubai Innovation Impact Grant Program?

To apply for the Expo Live 2020, participants must form a team and register for the Impact Grant. Further, they must highlight their startup idea and innovation that aligns with the norms of Expo Dubai 2020.

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the Expo Live 2020 Dubai Innovation Impact Grant Program is 15 September 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are ineligible for the grant.
