The National University of Singapore offers a number of fully-funded scholarships for international students as well. The Science & Technology (S&T) Undergraduate Scholarship is the full scholarships for Asian students who wish to commence undergraduate studies in Singapore. This scholarship is to support outstanding students from Asian countries (excluding Singapore).

Funding/Benefits

The Science & Technology (S&T) Undergraduate Scholarships covers the full expenses of students to attend NSU and live in Singapore. In particular, the scholarship provides funding for the following things

• Tuition cost (after MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy) and compulsory fees.
• Annual living allowance of S$ 6,000 and also S$200 one-time settling-in allowance upon enrolment.
• Similarly, an annual accommodation allowance which is equivalent to the lowest double room rate for on-campus accommodation.
• Furthermore, one-way air passage from home country to Singapore at the beginning of the course of study as well as return air passage from Singapore to home country at the end of the course.

The Scholarship is renewable for the undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computing (Business Analytics), Computing (Computer Science Courses), Computing (Information Systems), Computing (Information Security), Computer Engineering, Data Science and Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies (Environmental Biology specialization only), Food Science & Technology, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Science (excluding Pharmacy), at NUS.

Eligibility 

Asian students must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for this full Scholarships for at National University of Singapore

• Citizens of an Asian country, excluding Singapore.
• Have strong leadership qualities and potential as well as must-have excellent co-curricular activities records.
• Also, they must possess outstanding high school results.
• Be applying for admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program in Computing, Engineering or Science (excluding Pharmacy) at NUS.

Application Process

• All applicants for undergraduate admission to NUS will be considered automatically for the scholarship through their applications for admission.
• Applicants will be assessed on their suitability for the scholarship, based on the strength of their applications and/or their performance in the scholarship selection interview(s), if shortlisted.
