The University of Twente has announced the University Twente Scholarship awards for excellent international students to apply for a Master’s program at the UT.
Scholarship Value
The University Twente Scholarship value for International Students is
- € 3,000 – € 25,000 for one year (approximately 50 scholarships available). If you have applied for a two-year program, make sure you read the information about two-year study programs below.
- In addition to that, have a look at the overview of the estimated costs of living in the Netherlands (excluding tuition fees).
Requirements
The applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the International UT Scholarship awards
- An average grade of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the third quartile of the first year
- Along with that, at least 50% of European Credits at the end of the third quartile of the first year
Additional Details
- Application for a UT scholarship is a procedure separate from the application for course entry at the University of Twente. However, regardless of funding, the applicants must gain an admission letter first.
- The University(provisionally) admits the candidates to one of the qualifying UT Master programs starting in the academic year 2020/2021 (September).
- Likewise, the candidate must have a student number.
- They should not have graduated from a UT (under)graduate program
- Along with that, they should comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable)
- Furthermore, applicants should comply with the general English language test requirement- Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills.
- Finally, the University Twente Scholarship is a scholarship for excellent students. Typically this means that they belong to the best 5 to 10 percent of the class.
