The applications are opened for the fully-funded fellowships at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Interested applicants can apply until 23rd February 2020. The University is providing scholarships for Ph.D. degree in the field of Biotechnology.

• The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science is offering the fellowships.
• Also, the project is a multidisciplinary effort to develop future crops using resilient plants as a starting point.
• The project will be carried out within the NovoNordisk foundation project NovoCrops.
• It is housed at the Copenhagen Plant Science Center and is a multidisciplinary effort to develop future crops using resilient plants as a starting point.
• Additionally, the program will embed the students within the Transport Biology Section at the Department, under the supervision of Ass. Prof. Rosa Laura Lopez Marques.

Eligibility 

The candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the fully-funded fellowships at the University of Copenhagen

• They should hold an MSc degree in Plant Biology, Biotechnology or other related fields, with good results.
• Also, applicants should have excellent English skills.

Value of the Fellowship

• The starting salary is currently at a minimum DKK 328,355
• It includes an annual supplement (+ pension at a minimum DKK 53,360).
• Moreover, the fellows can also negotiate for salary supplement
