• The successful applicant will possess a doctorate from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined-Integrated Psychology.
• Also, he /she will be eligible for licensure in Virginia and have a commitment to an integrative, scientific-humanistic approach to the field and profession.
• Additionally, the University may give preference to candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude for training and scholarship in one or more of the following areas (especially using relational frames).
• They are, assessment (child, adolescent, adult), developmental psychopathology, cultural psychology, and mental health. Also, diversity issues, psychotherapy from a lifespan perspective, or applied research.
• Furthermore, evidence of excellence in teaching from an integrative perspective, as well as the potential for leadership at the state, national, and international levels and/or interest in grant development are particularly relevant for this position.
