Applications call for Dell Undergraduate Internship in Singapore – Dell Undergraduate Internship in Singapore. The intern will join the Dell GPCE (Global Product Compliance Engineering ) team in Singapore. The main goal of the Dell GPCE is to assure best-in-class global technical compliance, safety and environmental responsibility throughout the product and solution life cycle, ensure market access globally, allowing our customers and brand to thrive.

Responsibilities  

The position holder will be capable to take ideas and concepts and produce an effective and workable compliance tracking system. S/he will be doing the operations on the Product Compliance Database. The intern will also propose a database and perform data analysis (e.g. test results and statements of conformity). In addition to that, s/he will be doing the following duties

• Assisting with special compliance projects and create SOP and compliance projects on an as-needed basis.
• Generating reports relating to compliance for use in reporting the Company’s status to countries and regions.
• Also, learning compliance certifications and global regulations such as Energy RoHS3, REACH, WEEE, Prop 65 & analyzing regulatory changes and providing a risk assessment of those changes.
• Drafting or revising compliance policies and monitor the implementation of the policies.
• Reviewing components and interfacing with external suppliers for compliance data and also compiling the data into environmental compliance tool, and gather feedback from stakeholders
• Coordinating regulatory compliance relevant meeting materials, minutes and filing as well as keeping good records of meeting minutes and all regulatory filing items.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for Dell Undergraduate Internship in Singapore

• Current enrollment status in a university degree.
• Background in Science or Engineering degree; environmental expertise or a related specialty is a plus.
• Quick learner with strong communications & analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multi-tasks.
