Duties
The candidate will do the following duties
- He/she will lead innovative and applied research addressing crucial rural health issues, and to engage clinicians, consolidate and extend research skills at all AWH sites.
- Additionally, the position will support research relevant to JRC, AWH, and La Trobe University and in line with LaTrobe University’s key research platforms in aging and sub-acute care.
Qualifications

- The incumbent should have a clinical and doctoral qualification in a relevant field such as public health, medicine, program evaluation, epidemiology, nursing or allied health, together with subsequent research experience.
- He/she should possess outstanding quantitative and analytical skills.
- Also, he/she should hold a strong track record of conducting high-quality research. That includes research publications, experience in preparing research proposals and evidence of success in securing research funding.
- In addition, the incumbent should have demonstrated the ability to build sustainable relationships with a range of industry partners and evidence of the ability to promote research links with outside organizations/agencies.
