Duties

The incumbent does the following duties

• Provides structured formal training to providers and billing compliance staff, including onboarding of new staff.
• Additionally, develops assessments and customized training programs. Assesses quality assurance of new staff; reports feedback with documented results.

• Develops training medical coding curriculums meeting training and certification requirements. Ensures curriculums are current with industry standards.
• Develops training curriculums and programs for CPC classes in preparation for certification.
• Serves as a superuser; troubleshoots medical coding and billing inquiries; reviews and responds to coding documentation questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
