Seoul National University offers a large of scholarships for domestic as well as international students every year. Overseas Koreans Scholarship program is the scheme that awards fully funded scholarships with a stipend with the overseas students to study any undergraduate degrees at the Seoul National University.  The scholarship round opens once in every year. Basically, the application period will be in February or March(Once a year, the Recruitment period is about one month).

Benefits

Overseas Koreans Scholarships is the fully-funded provision for international students to undertake an undergraduate degree at the Seoul National University. In particular, the scholarship will cover the

• Full tuition exemption for a maximum of 8 semesters(only if the candidate meets the condition).
• Living expenses: 900,000 KRW per month 8 semesters(maximum). Also, airfare for one economy round trip.
• Korean language training fee: fee exemption at the Language Education Institute for 6 months.
• Furthermore, medical insurance subscription(private company).

Selection 

Applicants submit applications(apply online and print) and other documents to Korean embassies in their countries. Furthermore, the embassies make the first selection and the Overseas Koreans Foundation makes the second selection for the applicants.

Seoul National University 

Seoul National University is a national research university located in Seoul, South Korea. The university has three campuses: the main campus in Gwanak and two additional campuses in Daehangno and Pyeongchang. The university comprises sixteen colleges, one graduate school, and nine professional schools. Moreover, the student body consists of nearly 17,000 undergraduate and 11,000 graduate students.
