Duties

  • Serve as a TRAC team member with the following specific responsibilities: a. Work with the study coordinators to open studies within TRACb.
  • Additionally, attend meetings with the Rogel Cancer Center administrations.
  • Also, attend meetings with the Informatics group for web platform development.
  • Also, work with the Informatics team for web platform development. Write and edit as needed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for TRACf. Write and edit as needed user manuals for data analysis software used for TRAC purposes. Aid in maintaining IRB application for TRAC

Qualifications for Research Specialist Vacancy at University of Michigan

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 5 years’ experience in medical training, healthcare, radiology, and/or clinical research required
  • Additionally, exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on conveying highly technical material
  • Also, the ability to effectively monitor project scope and timeline while building and managing the TRAC team

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional/Doctorate degree preferred (MD, Ph.D., or equivalent)
  • Also, experience authoring or co-authoring publications and presenting findings at meetings and conferences
  • Furthermore, understand and utilization of tumor response evaluation criteria, including but not limited to RECIST, irRECIST, iRECISt, Choi, WHO, Cheson/Lugano, RECIL, LYRIC, PCWG, RANO, PERCIST, and customized versions of these established criteria.
