Duties

1. Take ownership of the discipleship of students
2. Facilitate regular triad meetings with students and connect with students outside those meetings.
3. Manage weekly schedule/routine
4. Promote and encourage students in life skills & character development
5. Enforce OneLife student behavioral policies
6. Facilitate experiential learning logistics (domestic and international)
7. Lead meetings and discussions (Bible/book studies)
8. Organize group activities and events

Requirements for Vacancy for OneLife Residence Leader 

1. A deep desire to be challenged to grow as a leader and disciple of Jesus
2. Likewise, love for travel and adventure
3. Also, the candidate must have a willingness to work in a focused residential learning environment with limited electronic technology
4. Furthermore, he/she must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or experience in mentoring/discipleship ministry.

Other Requirements

• Visual acuity is necessary to do editorial work, proof documents, and manage files.
• Additionally, the candidate requires the ability to perform the basic tasks associated with backpacking for up to 5 days
• Additionally, he/she requires some periods of time in an interior office environment. Outside of those physical requirements already described, may require infrequent lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
• Furthermore, the incumbent should live in a dorm in close proximity to students in the program. Spending portions of at least three evenings with students and traveling with them every fourth week of the program.
