Duties

Technical Assistance

  • Independently contribute to technical work, including participating in FP/RH communities of practice and working groups, developing FP/RH content pieces in a variety of mediums such as communication materials, blogs, job aids, infographics, etc.
  • Similarly, support immediate and emerging FP integration work, including COVID/FP and FP/HIV
  • Likewise, gather, summarize and synthesize relevant background information to inform the above technical work
  • Furthermore, use tools, processes, best-practices, and colleague review to ensure all products and documents are of the highest quality possible

Communications

  • Maintain project social media accounts; responsible for posting daily content and tracking analytics.
  • Additionally, create content for, and oversee the dissemination of, email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Also, design and implement creative strategies for engaging individuals in the project’s work, especially interactive platforms (e.g. online discussions, webinars, etc.).
  • Likewise, identify new channels for innovative dissemination and promotion of project materials, experts, events, products.
  • Similarly, support conference and event planning/participation.

Program Management

  • Manage project backstopping, independently
  • Furthermore, format, edit and produce documents and presentations, as needed
  • Contribute to work plans, reports, and budgets
  • Additionally, act as a liaison for consultant activities, ensuring statement of work, contract and deliverables are in place
  • Initiate, track and monitor procurements, contracts, work plans, and other administrative and programmatic documents
  • In addition to that, he/she will work closely with finance and administrative staff to ensure timely and compliant spending.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (M.A., MHS, MPH);
  • Additionally, three (3) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or understanding of knowledge management, family planning and reproductive health programs, social and behavioral change communication, and web-based learning are preferred.
  • Likewise, the incumbent should have completed Master’s degree in related field preferred, or minimally current pursuit of Master’s degree in health or education-related fields.
  • Furthermore, he/she must have exposure to travel or work abroad, especially in developing countries, which is helpful.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • French skills (and comfort using French professionally); international experience is a plus.
