Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Principle faculty lead of the MSN Administrative track program; coordinate all facets of the specialization including learning experiences, progress, and goals.
• Additionally, the incumbent will develop new nursing and related curriculum; assist in the evaluation of current courses and programs.
• Likewise, engage in the recruitment of new students and retention/program completion activities for enrolled students.
• Furthermore, fully commit to program attributes including teaching excellence, curriculum objectives, and student success.
• Also, participate in and contribute to the evaluation of all courses/programs in a systematic fashion; follow established practices and/or create additional assessment tools.
• Advise nursing students regarding progress, the course selection, and career goals; focus attention on those in the MSN Administrative track program.
• Similarly, participate in accreditation activities, appropriate committees, and other related University initiatives.
• Also, teach online courses in the RN to BSN/MSN and MSN programs.

Education/Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• Likewise, earned Doctorate in Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of health care administration or leadership experience
• Also, experience with online teaching methodologies
• Furthermore, previous teaching experience at the graduate level
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Additionally, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
