About the TASTE Program

Want to take your cooking skills to the next level—while having tons of delicious fun? Kendall College at National Louis University’s cooking classes for adults are offered at three skill levels.

You can plunge in deep with our cooking boot camps, turn up the heat with our date night class, or get your girlfriends together for girl’s night out! Likewise, learn techniques for cutting, baking, sautéing, braising, and much more.
Furthermore, the University also offers various continuing education opportunities.

Example classes offered are:

• International Cuisines
• Similarly, soups, stocks, and sauces
• Also, seasonal pies
• Likewise, pasta making
• Furthermore, intro to Wine
• Also, the Craft of Beer

TASTE adjunct faculty are expected to follow the event contract and reports to the Continuing Education Coordinator/Manager.

TASTE faculty are responsible for preparing course materials, ordering products through the storeroom, teaching the course, or running the event assigned through the event contract and supervise the required cleanup.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a background check and relevant experience.
• Additionally, the University teaches these courses to non-degree seeking students through the Kendall College TASTE program.
• Also, these individuals will not be accessing any NLU systems through the portal and will not need transcripts or adjunct orientations.
