Job Summary
- Manage the mobile clinic drugs and commodities store in accordance with standard medical store guidelines. NFI guidelines and proper documents.
- Additionally, in collaboration with the emergency Health team and Yangon and Field supply chain unit, to be in accordance with the PIT system.
- Likewise, capacity building of health team and supply chain unit on drugs store management and drug supply chain management of field office level.
Duties
- Design, set up, and administer the drugs stock management system in collaboration with Operations Officer and Health Manager for mobile clinic operations /capacity building.
- Similarly, setting up and implement the IRC’s drug and drug store management monitoring system to ensure quality drug store management.
- Also, regular circulating stocks list to line manager, and Health Manager for mobile clinic operations/capacity building and coordinate with the Health team to prepare the Purchase Request to ensure no stock running out for mobile clinics.
- Likewise, lead the drug supply chain management in collaboration with supply chain units in Yangon and Myitkyina.
- Moreover, the incumbent will manage the waste management system of drug stores in collaboration with operations Officer.
- Furthermore, he/she will manage the IRC’s drugs and the commodity store in Myitkyina and Bhamo.
Additional Duties
- Support health program to identify the capacity building needs of staff on drugs and drug stock management.
- Additionally, assist Field Coordinator and Senior level of Yangon office to identify capacity building needs of supply chain staff in drug supply chain management.
- Also, assist Operations Officer for capacity building of supply chain staffs on general
- Likewise, establish monthly drugs and general commodity store reports.
- Assist Field Coordinator and related program team for clinic operations/capacity building on the creation and follow up of project drugs and commodity consumption and supply plan.
- Furthermore, respect rules and regulations of IRC
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or degree or diploma in pharmaceutical products management
Experiences
- At least 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field of work.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical stocks reporting.
- Additional knowledge of supply chain management.
Competencies
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to travel in remote IDP camps and coastal region
- Familiar with the international and national standards of drugs and drug supply chain management.
- Good management skills of supply chain and drug store.
- Trained and experienced in supply chain management.
- Good time management skills, patience, and collaborative working.
- Ability to under pressure and complex contexts of management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and report-writing skills
