Job Description

Responsible for oversight and management of compliance matters relating to a Division I athletics program with an FCS football program. The position serves on the senior management team and reports directly to the Director of Athletics. Additionally, primary athletics liaison with Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid Office, Admissions, and the University Bookstore. Likewise, tasked with the development, communication, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, interpreting conference and NCAA rules, and maintaining a comprehensive rules education program.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or law degree.
  • Also, a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive, full-time experience in NCAA compliance at an NCAA Division I institution, Division I conference office, or NCAA National Office.
  • Likewise, competence in NCAA legislation, NCAA Compliance Assistant Software, LSDBi, and APP data collection.
  • Additionally, experience in developing NCAA rules education programming; experience in monitoring personnel, amateurism, recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, awards and benefits, and playing and practice season regulations.
  • Likewise, experience in the preparation of waivers, squad lists, and NCAA forms and reports, including but not limited to the collection and submission of APP data.
  • Furthermore, experience in issuing rules interpretations.
  • Also, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
