Duties

Under the direct authority of the Director-General, you will provide independent expertise on critical programmatic issues, so as to guarantee consistent, affordable, technical and management excellence, ensuring that the programs of the Agency are appropriately monitored and reviewed in terms of technical, cost & planning and quality elements, thereby: · ensuring effective Agency internal operations policies and initiatives, and the application of the principles of efficiency and economy. Also, providing an objective assurance function assisting the Director-General in fulfilling his overall management responsibilities.

Technical competencies

• Knowledge of the ESA institutional framework, policies and programs
• Also, of ESA’s environment and programmatic framework covering technical, quality and cost & planning aspects
• Likewise, knowledge in the field of program reviews
• Additionally, knowledge of the Agency’s business operations and its regulatory framework

Education

You should have a Master’s degree in engineering and/or management.
