Duties

Implement evaluation projects:

1. Support the design and implementation of impact evaluations and other research projects for the Pulte Institute. This will likely include a significant proportion of time providing support to a global Private Sector Engagement project, the development of an online development data curriculum, and a number of externally-funded evaluation projects;
2. Likewise, support all phases of program evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, and reporting.

Business and resource development:

1. Conduct background research on programs and/or policy areas related to Pulte Institute proposal development efforts;
2. Also, participate in the grant writing process as directed;
3. Review and edit draft proposals as necessary.

Work as part of the Pulte Institute evidence and learning team: Provide input to formulating division strategies and goals, long-term planning, and in developing evidence and learning strategic initiatives.

External communication:

1. Share results of evaluation initiatives, both inside and external to the Pulte Institute via presentations and other communications;
2. Similarly, support the preparation and presentation of Pulte Institute evaluation/research findings to appropriate external audiences.

This is a 3-year limited-term position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree with previous experience required:

• Data cleaning and analysis skills.
• Also, training and experience designing and implementing survey evaluations
• Likewise, proposal development experience in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and practical field experience across a broad range of programmatic areas and contexts
• Also, excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally and build capacity among colleagues from culturally diverse backgrounds and in different project settings.
• Additionally, the ability to travel internationally.
• Experience working on USAID grants.
• Furthermore, foreign language speaking ability.
