Summary
The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director of Transfer Admission is to coordinate and manage recruitment strategies, initiatives, and Admission staff involved in driving the enrollment of transfer and adult undergraduate students to Saint Xavier University. Additionally, this position collaborates in the development, execution, and assessment of a comprehensive transfer and adult student recruitment and communication plan.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead recruitment efforts of the Transfer Admission team, including:
- Assist in the development and execution of key recruiting strategies including targeted strategies specific to subpopulations of transfers – veterans, adults, part-time students, recent matriculants to community colleges, etc.
- Furthermore, develop targeted recruitment communications (email, phone campaigns, text, etc.) to drive transfer applications and enrollment.
Manage and mentor transfer admission staff including:
- Establish standards for the cultivation of inquiry and applicant pools
- Also, monitor key admission counselor performance benchmarks (IQ/App conversion, application completion rates, contacts and follow-up with prospective students, etc.)
- Moreover, manage transfer counselor travel responsibilities
Manage a selected transfer applicant pool which includes:
- Conduct on-campus admission group presentations and individual appointments
- Also, correspond with prospective students via direct mail, email, and phone
- Likewise, review applicants for admission
Qualifications for Vacancy for Assistant Director
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in college admission.
- Minimum one year of experience managing and leading staff in a professional setting
